Results of the designstudio Academie van Bouwkunst ‘Station Castricum’. Architect, urban design and landscape architecture students at the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam worked on the subject of Buitenpoorten; a station bordering nature conservation areas and landscapes of significance in the Metropolitan Region Amsterdam. This studio is focused on Station Castricum located at the Noordhollands Duinreservaat with dunes, beach and forests with a lot of reliëf. Each student found his/her way in strengthening local nature and culture through spatial interventions. They found their fascinations and were able to translate into beautiful drawings and explanations. Thanks Joep, Jana, Tale, Ritger, Wim, Sander and Tina!
